Lexi graduates from obedience school...but just barely

Today was Lexi's last day of obedience school. She had to go through a final exam. She actually did pretty well through most of it...her sit, down, stay, and were excellent. But then she had to walk nicely on her leash, and, well, she just gets distracted by all the other people and dogs.

Anyway, we made it through. Here's our graduating class:

The sad thing is, I know all the dogs but none of the people's names! Ha ha. The Great Dane (far left) was our favorite one--his name is Otis (Otis Sputmeyer Cream Cheese Danish). Then there's Rupert, whose some sort of basset hound-springer spaniel mix. And Ace the pit bull, and Shinzo the Japanese Akita. Very diverse group. I will miss them.

Here's Lexi with the turtle toy we got her as a graduation present and a bag of doggie treats they gave to her. We thinks this looks like one of those "Mom, please don't make me pose" pictures.

Here's one that's a little more cute.

Lexi did win the Best Trick Award at class though! We were all supposed to learn a new trick for the end of class. We learned a few different ones. Lexi performed the two first ones in the video for the class, and then everyone voted. And we won! We didn't get anything, but it was still nice. The last trick on the video is the best, though. Check it out!

Congratulations, Lexi!
