Puppy Love

Lexi has a boyfriend. She met him at the dog park. Unfortunately for her (but fortunately for me), he is unable to perform his manly duties. She doesn't seem to care, though. Ha ha ha.

His name is Jasper. He's very sweet, although he likes to give Lexi lots of love bites.

It's okay, though, because she can outrun him, and he knows it.

Someone actually asked me, "Hey, are those two the same type of dog?" Well, duh! They are like twinners, only three months apart, and he's got blue eyes.

And he's stud. Look at him swim! They've got a part of the lake next to the dog park sectioned off for the pups to swim, but Lexi won't get in. Wimp.

So, Lexi's in love. Look how happy she is!

Too bad in a couple of days they can't see each other ever again, unless we someday move to Dallas. The relationship never would have worked out anyway--fun fact: If two blue merle Australian shepherds breed together, the babies either die, or if they don't, they will be and deaf and blind. And they won't be merle-y either! They will be all white. Aussies have strange genetics.

So long, Texas dog park! And Lexi, it's better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all!
