Scout Gives Pony Rides

Thoroughbreds are one of the few horse breeds considered by the horse world to be "hot-blooded," meaning that they are high-spirited and difficult to control because of their high energy. Fortunately, it seems that no one has informed Scout that he is supposed to be "hot-blooded," as he allowed six little nieces to pet and ride him for an hour and a half. What a good boy.

Even little Katie took a ride on my wonderful horse.

She liked Scout so much she even gave him some kisses. He sure loved them!

Libbie seemed to enjoy her ride as well!

Molly looked really cute in her cowgirl outfit. I want some boots just like hers!

Hailey was brave enough to ride Scout all by herself, even though she's never ridden him before! She learned that "whoa" means stop and clucking means go!

Abbie thought he was pretty great and got to ride with her mom later. She's Scout's youngest-ever rider!

Scout will miss those little girls!
