Goodbye, Georgia

We moved out of our house last week and it was quite the ordeal. Had we not gotten help from some amazing people, we never would have made it out. Seriously. I don't even want to write about all that happened because I honestly don't even want to remember it. Ha ha. 

This was my final look at our house. We had so many happy times there but by the end of selling it it was such a mess that I just said, "Good riddance!" 

Here's Logan at the lawyer's office waiting for the buyer to read every single word of the contract before signing. It took forever, but Logan was pretty good until the very end.

Here's me saying goodbye to Lexi. She went to stay with Robert and Cydnie for a while, and then Vicki later. 

Logan was really good on the drive to Atlanta. He spend most of the time reading his books and napping and eating goldfish. It was great.

Such a good boy to sleep for a while on the plane. We got a lot of people complimenting us for how good his behavior was (even when he was awake).

We had to fly to Vegas first before getting to SLC. Logan loved looking at the airplanes and crawling around all the slot machines. 

We finally made it to Utah, even though that wasn't really the end of our move. Jordan and I spent five days in Utah for a very sad reason--the passing and funeral of Jordan's sweet Gram. We sure miss her. Then I flew to Reno and Jordan flew back to Utah for two more weeks of work and then three days of driving with Krista's husband Matt to drive both our cars to Utah. All the while our stuff was being shipped to Mike and Laurie's house and arrived July 18. So all that's left is to unload the truck, find somewhere to live, and then move to wherever that happens to be. We're definitely getting closer to living in Utah again!
