Lexi and I have been taking agility classes about 40 minutes away. It's been a really great experience. The trainer is really nice and doesn't even charge for lessons--she just asks that we help pay for new equipment when hers starts to break down (the cost will be split between her 4 students).
Anyway, Lexi is doing awesome. We're learning a TON and having lots of fun too! Jordan has beeen super nice to help me make some agility equpment in our yard. We finally finished up the weave poles (although I need to go paint the last 6 today) and we made a jump last week.

If you are wondering what "channel weaves" are, it's when you take the 12 weaves (all in a line, spaced 23 inches apart, normally) and split them into a channel, with six on either side, the width of the dog's shoulders. Then they run through the middle. After they gain confidence, you move the poles closer and closer until they are finally in a line and the dog is weaving! It takes a while but Lexi's doing good so far. Someday she'll be like these awesome weaving dogs!
We've got a trial on November 19th (that does not include weaves) so wish us luck!

This is so cool! Lexi and you are so very talented! I don't know how you ever taught her to do these things. Keep having fun! Love you!
